Mission Statement
The purposes of this organization shall be to provide education to hobbyists and professionals in various aspects of the professional white dove release business; monitor and influence legislation relative to laws and proposed laws that might affect the white dove release business. NWDRS shall, particularly, promote the public service of education of the public, as well as our members relative to the ethical and humane treatment of pigeons, particularly as they relate to the white dove release business.
This shall include responding to calls regarding found white pigeons in a member's vicinity, whether their own bird or an unknown bird. The public image of caring, ethical and responsible bird owners is very important for the dove release industry. NWDRS members are expected to respond to such calls appropriately, which shall mean advising the public on options available to them for found birds, including help finding the owner (if possible), feed and release when well, or transfer to a third party willing to take the bird. It is required that NWDRS members retrieve their own birds when found. Failure to do so on two reported occasions will be grounds for canceling and refunding membership fee.
NWDRS shall provide an online forum that is available to associate members. GOLD NWDRS shall also promote its professional members through a web site listing of said members. This web site listing shall be available to the public at large.
NWDRS Membership
The NWDRS provides forums for members to 
share ideas and experience in the care of our birds, training and business practices. We are a professional organization of White Dove Release businesses. We uphold first the safety of our birds and the client by releasing only healthy, trained and banded white homing pigeons. We are proud members of the American Racing Pigeon Union and as such provide our "Gold" members the opportunity to purchase registered NWDRS/AU bands each year. All Gold Members have their own listing information on the Professional Listing page of the state where their particular service area is located. Additionally, there are promotional benefits for Gold Members such as various brochures that can be purchased in reasonable amounts; they are designed so you can personalize them with your personal identification.

NWDRS Forum Membership
This is a free learning and discussion forum where any subject relating to white dove releases can be discussed. You can enjoy the benefits of being a part of our NWDRS discussion forum...just without all the benefits of the Gold Membership. If you are not yet a full fledged business, but planning on beginning a white dove release business, you will receive invaluable information from the members of this organization. NWDRS "Gold" Professional Membership
This is a fee based, nonprofit professional organization for dove release professionals. Our Gold Members are required to be a professional white dove release business in good standing with the public in their area, release healthy, trained and banded white homing pigeons which return to their home lofts. You can become a GOLD member for only $50 a year (or $70 and add your spouse, or other family member, as a voting member) and enjoy many benefits!
